Hi, my name is James Boyd, owner and operator of

jpc metal recycling, LLC

    I started my business in April of 2005, with an old pickup truck and a small trailer.   I was disgusted with the amount of scrap metal that was going into landfills.   I was concerned about what this was doing to our underground water table.    I  don't know about you, but I'm not so sure that all these toxins won't someday cause problems.   This prompted me to start my business.  

A little bit about me...I was born and raised in Detroit.  Being one of 10 children, we all learned to help out and get along, well, a lot of the time, anyway!.  We had a pretty good life, Dad, as you can imagine, worked hard providing for all of us; and Mom, well, she worked even harder keeping us all in line and running the household.   I learned the importance of hard work and honesty from my folks.

This is how I live, and this is how I run my business.

jpc metal recycling, LLC was proud to have a float in the 2010 Redford Township Memorial Parade, for which we took 2nd place. Our theme was "For Our Freedom, We Thank You".    This was our 2nd year and we are already planning and are looking forward to next year's parade.
